Okabeya
The famous Yudofu (A simple Japanese dish made of Tofu simmered in hot water with kombu [dried kelp].) is made at the tofu factory located inside Okabeya. Hikiage Yuba (A dish of heated soy milk skin [Yuba], which you can pull up yourself.) and the Oboro-dofu (A tofu taken out during the process of making tofu which is very soft and melts in your mouth.), which are enjoyed with freshly made homemade tofu is the speciality of the restaurant. You can also enjoy other dishes such as cuisine using Namafu(A Japanese food made from gluten extracted from wheat which is steamed that has a chewy texture.) and vegetable tempura (A Japanese dish, which vegetable are slightly-battered and deep-fried.). The restaurant was crowded with foreign tourists coming one after another.
