Shio Ramen is a creamy ramen made with Tori paitan (Chicken broth, a white creamy thick soup based on chicken bones.) and cream paste to create the richness. chashu (Chicken braised in a savory-sweet sauce until it becomes tender.), green onion, onion, and Chili thread were the toppings. The medium-thick, flat noodles were sticky and easily combined with the soup. Spicy Shoyu Ramen, also had a creamy soup like the Shio Ramen, but was spiced and had a spicy hot flavor. (You can adjust the spiciness, when you order.) The meat in the chashu bowl was very tender, and the salty-sweet sauce was appetizing and delicious. The restaurant has 44 seats in total, a counter, two seats, and six sofa seats for four people. Children's chairs are also prepared, making the restaurant easy to use for families. Prayer space for both men and women are available at the building across the restaurant on the 3rd floor.

Opportunity to open a store
At first, our restaurant was not halal-friendly, but with the Tokyo Olympics being held, we qualified as a halal-certified restaurant and made ramen that everyone can eat. It is taking for granted that ramen is inedible because it contains mirin (sweet rice wine/ sweet cooking sake, a type of sake with low alcohol and high sugar content.) and pork, but at Ayam-Ya, all of the menu are halal-friendly, so you can enjoy the meal with peace of mind.

4-minute walk from Shijo Station, Kyoto City Subway Karasuma Line. 【From Shinkansen platform to subway Karasuma line】 Go down the Shinkansen platform at Kyoto Station and go towards Hachijo East Entrance. If you see the JR line transfer gate, pass the passage in front of the "Waiting Room" diagonally to the right and go down the stairs at the end of the passage. You will see Shinkansen Hachijo East entrance. Turn left when you exit Shinkansen Hachijo East entrance. Go to the "Subway Walkway (Karasuma direction)" on the right side of the JR line platform. Go down the stairs at the end of the building and you will find the ticket gate of the subway Karasuma line. 【From Shijo Station to the restaurant】 Exit the ticket gate and go to Exit 2, which is diagonally to the left. Go up the stairs and escalator and cross the crosswalk in front of you. (You can see “LAQUE” in front of you.) After crossing the crosswalk, turn left and go straight. Go past the "Sumitomo Seimei Kyoto Building" on your right, and immediately take the alley to the right, then turn left at the first street and the restaurant is on the left.

Enter "ISETAN" on your left, then turn left and take the elevator at the end. Go to the 10th floor and after passing the ramen store to the back, you will find an aerial route on your right.
