Take the train from JR Kyoto Station to JR Tohukuji Station. (The Nara Line, platform No.8.9.10.) Transfer to Keihan Main Line at Tohukuji Station, and get off at Jingu-marutamachi Station. 10-minute walk from the Jingu-marutamchi Station. [How to transfer from the Shinkansen (bullet train) to JR Line] After getting off the bullet train at Kyoto Station, go down the nearest stairs and head to the JR transfer gate towards the “Shinkansen Central Exit”. While checking the signboard above, there is a JR transfer gate diagonally to the right. After entering the JR ticket gate, go down the stairs on the right and there is a platform for Nara Line headed to Tohukuji Station. Any train from platform No.8,9,10 will stop at Tofukuji Station. [Transfer at Tofukuji Station] Exit the ticket gate and take the stairs going down to the lower left and there is the transfer gate for the Keihan Main Line.
