AMARA
It is an affiliate restaurant of a traditional store that has been opened in India since 1958. The restaurant is decorated with artwork that is over 4,500 years old, and they hope that visitors will experience the art of ancient tribes, and learn even just a little bit about their wonderful techniques. The curry they offer is made from more than 20 types of spices and herbs which is combined in good balance, a traditional recipe completed over many generations. It is an aromatic, rich taste delicious curry which is addictive. The various types of spices, herbs, and beans used in Amala's cuisine are displayed in the restaurant. Please enjoy the artwork, vintage photos of the traditional Indian stores, while enjoying the delicious dishes.

The roots of this restaurant come from the restaurant established in 1958 in Kolkata, eastern India. In India, there is a history that both Muslims and Hindis has been coexisting from long ago, so there are many restaurants that can accommodate to diversity. They wanted to make the same kind of restaurant and opened one in Japan.

1-minute walk from Oshiage Station. Head towards the TOKYO SKY TREE TOWN directly connected to the station, from Exit B3. You will see a signboard that says "TOKYO SKY TREE TOWN.", so turn left at the sign and you will be in the basement of the Tokyo Sky Tree. Take the elevator to the 6th floor which is the destination floor.
