There are three Hokkaido Donburi Chaya restaurants (Sapporo Nijo Market, New Chitose Airport, and Otaru Sakai-cho Dori). Since it is the origin of the seafood rice bowl specialize restaurant, the dishes were very tasty, and all the branches had a waiting line. Of course, the freshness of the raw food was excellent, and so delicious. The staff were all very nice and took care of us politely until the end.

The department manager at that time, had a chance to get to know a Malaysian Muslim through inbound travel. They actually visited the site and wondered if it would be possible to offer halal food in Japan, and a halal-friendly menu was created. (Delivery is partially available.)

Access
Take the Rapid Airport from Sapporo Station to Otaru Station (about 36-minute). Take the bus from Otaru Station, No.4 bus stop (Yamanote Line) to Honkyoku-mae bus stop (5-minute). After getting off at the bus stop, go towards the right direction and turn right at the first traffic light. Go straight for about 300m, and the restaurant is on the left.
