Busuitei
Busuitei is a ryokan (Japanese-style inn), established in 1876 with a long history. It was listed in one of the 15 ELEMINIST's “vegan hotels” in December 2023. You can enjoy the Kaiseki cuisine ( a traditional Japanese multi-course haute cuisine), which is cooked by the owner who trained at a Shojin-Ryori (Buddhist vegetarian cuisine) restaurant. It can be used for lunch only. Dinner is available only for the lodging guests. There are only three guest rooms in total, a private space. The limited number of rooms allows them to offer a very special time with their attentive hospitality.

We started offering Halal menu, since the city offered us to join the city-wide activity to welcome Muslims. We do not obtain any Halal certification by a third-party organization. Please make a reservation at least one week in advance. Meat and seasonings are Halal-friendly. The kitchen is not exclusively for Muslims, as it is also used for general cooking. Kitchenware such as cutting boards and knives for the Muslim menu are used separately from the general menu. They use the same tableware as the general menu. If you wish, we can provide disposable tableware, cups, and chopsticks.
