We went there at the opening time of lunch, and few groups of Japanese came in as soon as the open and ordered in a familiar manner. The first floor with a spacious atrium to the second floor is a wood-based design, and many Indonesian dolls and masks are decorated. There are 60 seats and 70 seats can be prepared for group use. Since the opening hour is long and needs strength, 3 men chefs handle the cooking. All the staffs are Indonesian but, all of them had a kind atmosphere and treated us kindly. The first and second floor of the four-story building are used for an Indonesian restaurant, and the third and fourth floors are used for the owner's human resource support business, interpretation business, and esthetic salon. The owner we got to interview, loves Japan and wants to develop the area around Nagoya (The largest city in Chubu region, the capital of Aich prefecture.), which he has lived for a long time to a place to promote Japanese culture and told us that he has been thinking of many businesses starring his eyes. The restaurant has 18 years history, and we can see customers chatting friendly with the owner while leaving the restaurant. It makes sense that there are many regular customers since it is spacious inside, lunch is a reasonable price and all the dishes are delicious. All the dishes offered in the restaurant uses Halal ingredients and menu is divided into items such as vegetable, meat, and seafood, making it easy to order according to your preferences. Please enjoy the delicious Indian cuisine feeling the exotic atmosphere.

Opportunity to open a store

There were only few workers who come to Japan from overseas 24 years ago, when the owner came to Nagoya (The largest city in Chubu region, the capital of Aich prefecture.). The number of people who come to Japan from Indonesia, owner’s home country, has increased gradually, but there were no restaurants that dose not use pork at that time. Since the owner likes to cook, and wanted to open a Halal friendly restaurant that Muslims can use, so made an Indonesian restaurant at Nishiki, Nagoya (A district located in Naka-ku, Nagoya, Aichi prefecture with many delicious restaurants and tourists’ spots.) in 2006.
