The restaurant is located just before entering Yokohama Chinatown from Nihon-odori. It might be a little hard to find, since it’s on the second floor of the building. It is much spacious inside, than the impression from the outside. We could understand why there are many women customers, because the restaurant is stylish and clean with a parasol with the restaurant’s logo, photo of India displayed on the wall and a sober lighting. The south Indian cuisine Chemmeen Thoran’s original blend of spices is very delicious and has an addictive taste you can’t stop putting it in to your mouth even though you want to take a break from sweating.

Opportunity to open a store
The owner Mr. Rabi, majored Hotel Management at university, and then worked at a five-star hotel “The Oberoi Bangalore” as a head of food and beverage. He decided to open the restaurant, since there were none restaurants in the area that can eat both north and south Indian cuisine together. The owner told us that the restaurant uses spices luxuriously, and is proud of its carefully grilled Tandoori and the authentic Indian curry dishes. He also said that all the menu are Halal and since they have menu which correspond to vegan and vegetarian, everyone can come to the restaurant with a peace of mind

8-minute walk from Nihon-odori Station. ①Head to the right after exiting the Nihon-odori Station. ②Turn right at the "Yamashita-cho Fire Fighting Sub-branch Mae" traffic light. ③Turn left at the end and cross to the right at “Kaga-cho Police Station North” traffic light. After crossing the crosswalk, head to the left and the destination is diagonally on the right.
