Indonesian restaurant cabe Meguro store is an Indonesian restaurant which was broadcasted on TV drama “The Solitary Gourmet”! It is a popular restaurant where you can eat the 【Soto Babat】(stewed beef giblets soup), which took the grand prix of the BRUTUS Order Grand Prix (chock-full soup) category, and an Asian meat cuisine 【Rendang】(braised beef with spices), a delicious dish known world-wide, which won first place two times in America’s CNN “Most delicious food”. After the TV broadcast, many Japanese, Chinese and Koreans comes to the restaurant. Since there is a Indonesian embassy nearby, it was crowded before the COVID, with 80% of the foreigners customers (Muslims, foreign residents in Japan, tourists). It is a restaurant with nice atmosphere full of charm with a smiling attentive staff and the owner who is kind enough to show us brochures and magazines despite their busy schedules.

We were not trying to make a halal restaurant; we wanted to make an Indonesian restaurant. With the inbound and Halal boom these days, our restaurant started to be aware of it and is being careful, such as soy sauce without alcohol derivatives. The meat we use is all Halal.
