Kintoki-tei
You can enjoy your meal while viewing the magnificent Mt. Fuji (The highest mountain in Japan). Other than the classic dish “Kamameshi” (traditional Japanese dish where rice, meat, seafood, and vegetables are cooked together in an iron pot), you can enjoy seasonal dishes on the menu. Kamameshi is served according to your arrival time so that you can enjoy freshly cooked rice. The kintoki manju (steamed buns) that comes with dessert are very delicious, with a crispy outer crust and a soft and fluffy sweet bean paste inside. I highly recommend you to buy it as a souvenir at the shop on the 1st floor. There is also a prayer space in the compound.

A Manju (traditional Japanese confection, sweet bun that has sweet fillings such as red bean paste inside.) shop established 50 years ago. It moved to its current location 30 years ago and started a restaurant. Before COVID, the managing director had a chance to meet a Muslim and learned that there were no Halal restaurants in Gotemba (Convenient city in Shizuoka prefecture for visiting the Fuji area, where you can enjoy shopping, safaris and the Mt. Fuji.). So they decided to start offering Halal food.
